Abstract

This publication presents an overview of the development of the level of welfare of the people of South Halmahera Regency over time. The dimensions of people's welfare that are observed include population, education, health and nutrition, employment, household consumption patterns, housing and environment, as well as other social conditions. This publication only presents problems of people's welfare that can be observed and can be measured (measurable welfare) using single indicators or composite indicators. The level of welfare of the people of South Halmahera, when viewed from several indicators, shows changes for the better over time, including:- In 2020-2022, the percentage of toddlers who have received immunizations in South Halmahera Regency has generally increased. Hepatitis B and BCG are the immunizations with the highest percentage of children under five with values of 96.38 and 96.24 percent.- School Enrollment Rates (APS) and Net Enrollment Rates (APM) in South Halmahera Regency, in general, will increase in 2022 compared to 2021- In 2020-2022, the number of poor people in South Halmahera Regency will decrease, from 12.41 thousand people in 2020 to 12.23 thousand people in 2022.- In 2020-2022, households that can enjoy both PLN and non-PLN electricity will experience an increase in the 2022 South Halmahera Regency People's Welfare Indicator, from 91.27 in 2020 to 94.68 in 2022- In 2020-2022, the percentage of the population who own/use cellular telephones (HP) will increase, from 64.29 in 2020 to 81.42 in 2022.
